A new Family Liaison Team has been launched to link patients and their families after visiting was suspended at Boston, Lincoln and Grantham hospitals in response to coronavirus.

A new GOV.UK WhatsApp Coronavirus Information Service has now been launched to help combat the spread of misinformation.

The past few weeks have been exceptionally challenging and intense for the NHS in Lincolnshire as we have responded to the immediate daily pressures, whilst also preparing for the weeks and months ahead.

The community health trust that manages the supply of specialist equipment that helps people stay in their own homes, has appealed to the public to return any unused equipment.

To reduce the burden on GP practices a new online system, created by the NHS and the Department for Work and Pensions, is now live for patients to be emailed a digital isolation note.

From today, inpatients at any United Lincolnshire Hospital NHS Trust sites will be able to access free Freeview TV and free calls to UK landlines and mobiles.
