System working encompasses all of the topics that have touch points with all health and care services provided in Lincolnshire. These range from information management and technology (IM&T) to large scale financial investment planning (capital investment) and the transport strategy.
Out of hospital delivery
We are committed to achieving a significant change in the delivery of out of hospital services in order to manage demand much more efficiently and make the most of the money we spend.
Acute services delivery
Acute care is care delivered in a hospital setting or sometimes by hospital services in other locations. In Lincolnshire this includes both our large hospitals & community hospitals and some mental health services (click here).
Operational efficiency
Operational efficiency is just a phrase to describe how we will ensure we gain the maximum value from each pound we spend on resources delivering health & care services.
